Offered in this lot is a collection of western themed items. The first item is a turtle shell rattle. The rattle is made of half a turtle shell and rawhide on a leather covered wand. There are seed beads at the joining of the shell to the wand and two turkey feathers and one horse hair tassel. The wand measures 19". The rawhide on the back of the rattle is cracked. The next item is a suede leather fringed and beaded bag. The bag measures 9" x 9" with 2" fringe. The bag has a drawstring closure. On one side of the bag is beading of four circles in yellow and red and a red open heart. The lining inside the bag is hand sewn cotton cloth with prints of the Hawaiian Islands. Next is a leather and cloth needle holder from Mt. Cavell, Jasper Park, Canada. The cover has a hand painted Indian chief in headdress on the cover. Inside are three pieces of felt with needles. These items are all in good to fair condition.
