The sword features a wonderfully and professionally crafted engraved cross hilt guard of brass with brass acorn ends to the hilt. It has a composite decorative hand with brass buttons textured with starts and an ornate sheath. The blade is ornately etched with 'United States Marine Corps' and includes geometric decoration. Just above the hilt is etched as follows: China - Stainless - 440. The condition of this dress sword is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this dress sword are 37 3/4" x 5 1/4" x 1 1/8".*
