For your consideration in this lot is an antique calendar advertising for Shot Shell Cartridges by the U.S. Cartridge Co, III Broadway New York, N.Y. The illustration was done by William Harnden Foster in 1930. This piece is marked "Lithographed in U.S.A. CS 90 9-28" It shows an amusing scene titled "Come On, What Ails Yer!" showing an old hunter with his faithful companion distracted by the scent of a well-hidden rabbit. The November 1929 page of the calendar pad is stapled to the bottom of the lithograph. This piece has a small metal loop to hang. Overall, the piece shows very good condition, especially for age. The calendar is preserved in shrink wrap on an acid-free mat board. It measures 35" x 16" inches.
