Included in this lot we have a pair of seals/ plaques from the US Department of the Interior originating from the 20th century. The first of the plaques shows the Department of the Interior seal which is the image of a buffalo with the rising sun peaking over mountains in the back ground. The piece is marked across the front reading "U.S. Department of the Interior - March 3, 1849". The second plaque is for the Fish and Wildlife Service with in the Department of the Interior. The piece shows the image of a duck in flight while a trout jumps out of the water, with a pair of mountains and a river in the background. The seal is marked across the front reading "Department of the Interior - U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service". The signs show a hole to mount it to the wall with the Interior seal also showing a foldable stand. The pieces are in good condition overall with minor wear. The signs have a diameter of 15 1/2".
