Vintage Stanley insulated military carafe with the Medical Corps insignia, made by Landers, Frary and Clark of New Britain, Conn. The bottom has a riveted brass tag that shows N.N.M.C. and serial numbers. The initials stand for the National Naval Medical Center, colloquially referred to as Bethesda Naval Hospital. in 2011, the hospital was combined with Walter Reed Army Hospital and that merger is now known as Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Carafe is in very good condition, slight scratches noted throughout from years of normal use, no dents noted, functions as expected.
