Featured in this lot is this Utzshneider u Fraunfofer brass telescopic sight circa 1840's. The telescope features a wonderfully and professionally crafted brass construction that features a tube sight rail with a adjustable telescopic sight system and is propped up on a tripod system. The tube is marked 'Utzschneider u. Fraunhofer in Munchen' close to the sight system. The condition of this telescopic sight is good with some fading to the sheen of the lacquered brass but otherwise it shows good overall condition. The measurements of this telescopic sight is 21 1/4" x 39" x 14".
