For your consideration is an original hand painted watercolor by Vel Miller, 1972. Miller is an accomplished Western artist whose paintings and sculptures have been viewed in numerous shows and exhibitions throughout her career. In addition, she has been featured in notable publications and has received several awards. This beautiful work of art shows a chestnut bay horse head in wonderful detail, showing it's bridal, resting eyes, mane, and muscular shoulders. This portrait is placed on a tan and blue painted background, giving it a classic Western tone. The artist's signature is in the bottom left, "Vel Miller, 1972", and this piece has been framed in a wooden frame. This piece has also been auctioned at Butterfield auction in San Francisco and is marked on the back with the auction house tag. The visible art measures 5"x7" and the frame measures 14" x 12".
