Venetian Fancy Milifiori Trade Bead Necklaces

Offered in this lot is a collection of Venetian Milifiori African trade bead necklaces. The first of these necklaces is made with many types of Milifiori beads, as well as blue, red, and white beads. There are thirty-eight different Milifiori beads. The necklace is strung on twine and measures 26". The next necklace is strung on nylon line with a brass clasp. The necklace is made of black seed beads, disks of shell, red stone beads, brass beads, and four milifiori beads. The beads match on each side of the necklace. The total length of the necklace is 28". The next necklace is made of round, approximately ½” beads. These beads are red, white, and green watermelon milifiori. There are sixty-three beads strung on cotton 27" long. The last necklace is strung on raffia and consists of "beads" that are sections of cane milifiori. These beads have a great color and are very tightly strung. The necklace measures 29". All four of these necklaces are in good condition and only show minor wear and damage.
