Featured in this lot is this watercolor of a Texas man portrait by Texas artist Victor Armstrong born in 1937 and died in 2020. The portrait features a wonderfully and professionally crafted watercolor construction that shows a Texas man with bright colors. Victor had a natural ability to sketch and blend colors. For 10 years he worked as a sign painter, until October of 1970 when his career transitioned after being recognized for his famous painting of the Bevo and the University of Texas tower. The condition of this framed watercolor is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this framed watercolor is 11 3/4" x 9 3/4" and the visible artwork measures 5 3/8".
