Presented in this lot is an antique Victorian Heraldic Royal Crown Coat of Arms Essex Crystal Enamel Reverse Brooch/Pin, circa 1890-1910. These became popular with some middle to upper class people. The painting with enamel covering it has been a long used decoration. This brooch uses the Essex crystal which are cut in cabochon style. Flat on the bottom painted with the coat of arms and covered with the enamel. A small amount of enamel has come off, otherwise brooch is in good condition. Measurement is 2.5"L x 1.75"W
