For your bidding pleasure is this Victorian Sterling Silver Tea Strainer. This beautiful Silver piece is well made showing intricate designs that are classic Victorian era maternal decorum; showing children frolicking along either side of the panel that holds the strainer to the cup, along with floral and basket designs around the rest of the border.. This strainer is placed over ones tea cup with chosen loose leaf tea pouring hot water to steep the tea and strain the the tea into the cup. The initials on the handle are LBW; with a makers stamp that couldn't be made out with the initials CG stamped symmetrically to other side of the handle. The measurements of this strainer are 6 3/4" x 4 1/2"
