For your consideration in this lot we have a Victorian style bed frame taken from the Voss Inn. The Inn was built three blocks from Downtown Bozeman in 1883 by Matt and Martha Alderson. The bed was featured in The Chisholm Room at the Inn. The frame's foot board is made of cast iron and the head board is a marriage of iron and brass. The light is an old fashioned oil lamp constructed from brass and converted to electric. The cast iron sports a floral design predominantly across the top of the piece. While the brass section shows elegant designs of spiraling brass. The fame is in very good condition overall, with some wear on the paint on the foot board and base, and some denting on the brass portions. The foot board measures 54" wide by 42 1/2" tall, the head board measures " tall by 54" wide and the over hang extends 26" out from the wall.
