For your consideration is this collection of two graniteware items including a kettle/coffee pot and a skillet circa 1950s. Graniteware was a variation of enamelware, and was made with a speckled surface that resembled granite stone. Enamelware can be a solid color, but also comes in many beautiful patterns. These patterns are created by applying a piece of paper with an oxidized pattern on it to the porcelain while it is still hot. The kettle is a black graniteware, it shows white specks throughout the whole piece giving the kettle a granite rock look. It has a metal wire handle and a handle connected to the side. The spout features filter holes. The kettle has no makers marks present. It shows good condition with no signs of damage and little to no wear. The kettle measures a bottom diameter of 8 7/8" and a height of 9 3/4". The second item is a blue and white graniteware skillet. The skillet shows a base blue color with white specks throughout the skillet. The skillet shows no makers mark. The skillet shows good condition with some areas of rusting and chipped enamel. The skillet measures a diameter of 9 1/2", a height of 1 3/4" and a length of 17 3/8".
