These two colorful kitchen collectibles capture the nostalgic charm of mid-century American kitchenware. On the left is the highly recognizable Winking Clown cookie jar, manufactured in the United States during the 1950s by Sierra Vista California Pottery, a company celebrated for its whimsical, anthropomorphic ceramic figurines. On the right is "The Pizza Chef" cookie jar, a figural piece depicting a chef removing a pizza from a brick oven. This popular style of Italian "Fat Chef" kitchen decor was widely produced by multiple mid-to-late 20th-century manufacturers—including Roseville Pottery (RRP Co.), Treasure Craft, and Jay Imports—who specialized in cold-painted novelty housewares. Both pieces utilize a distinct two-piece construction where the character's upper half or hat acts as a removable lid. The cookie jars are sold as is.
