Featured in this lot is a Vintage Original Bohlin Sterling Silver Leather Belt, circa 1950s - 1960s, women's. Made by the renowned Edward H. Bohlin, out of Hollywood, California. Edward Bohlin and his carefully selected team of skilled leatherworkers and silversmiths have been known since the 1920s for providing spectacularly created saddles and leatherwork to Hollywood stars of Western movies as well as for equestrian riders of the annual Rose Parade and throughout the equestrian world worldwide. Bohlin is equally legendary for designing and creating elegant belt buckles. This stunning sterling silver leather belt and buckle features sterling silver embossed and stamped stars with embossed and stamped hogan conchos throughout. Sterling silver buckle and slide feature stamped floral designs. The underside of the buckle is stamped with the "Bohlin Made" hallmark and "Sterling", as well as the tongue underside being stamped, "Bohlin Made Calif. Hollywood". The condition of this beautiful leather belt and buckle is very good overall, leather is supple, nice rich patina noted throughout. Measures 27.5"L, collective weight is 134 grams.
