Offered in this lot are three strands of Cranberry glass trade beads. Beads of this dark red color are usually made using trace amounts of gold. The first two strands are of cylinder beads. These beads measure an average of 3/8" long X 3/16" wide. One strand has seventy eight beads; the other strand has seventy five beads. Both measure 28" in circumference. The third strand is of small multi-faceted cranberry beads and dark brown/black beads. This strand is 27" long and is open, not tied closed. There are 145 small multi-faceted cranberry beads measuring an average 1/8" X 1/8"; every five or ten red beads are spaced by a dark brown/black bead, of which there are 63. The shine that comes from these very old beads is truly special. The beads on these strands are in very good condition.
