Presented in this lot is this Vintage 4-Pelt Mink Fur Stole with Heads, circa 1950s to 1980s. The trend for mink stoles and fur in general was strong from the 1930s and remained a mainstream and aspiring fashion until the 1980s. Peak popularity came with the post-WWII economic boom that made luxury items like mink stoles accessible to more people, solidifying their status as a symbol of the upper crust and sophistication. This stole features four individual minks displaying soft fur and vivid coats, heads, feet and tails, well made by a professional furrier and in good overall condition. Measures 57" long.
