Offered in this lot is a vintage leather briefcase made by Hartman Inc. Hartmann Inc. was founded in 1877 in Milwaukee, WI by Bavarian trunk maker, Joseph S. Hartmann. This case has two main zipper compartments, a locking front storage area (with no key), and a pocket and zipper storage on the back. The case has a handle and detachable shoulder strap. There is one place where the stitching is coming out on a zipper and there is damage to one section of an outer flap. The leather has some discoloration from use. The silk and sections on the inside are in good condition. Overall, this case is in good, used condition. The case measures 17" X 6" X 12" with a 45" shoulder strap.
