Offered in this lot is a Vintage Link-Taylor Lexington Furniture Chelsea Manor Gilt Framed Mirror, circa Mid-Century. The mirror features a large rectangular Baroque-style carved gilded gesso frame. The beveled glass gesso mirror is designed with raised floral acanthus themes, extensive carved scrolling and intricate geometric designs. Common in 19th-century French and European furniture and decorative arts. Link-Taylor was a prominent mid-20th-century American furniture manufacturer based in North Carolina, established around 1949–1950. Renowned for high-quality, solid wood construction in mahogany and pine, the brand operated under the Dixie Furniture Company umbrella. It eventually became part of Lexington Furniture Industries and is now a sought-after vintage brand.
