Featured in this lot is this vintage Remington and Peters ammo box collection. There are two ammo boxes in this collection. The first is a Remington Shur Shot ammo crate constructed from wood and shows dovetail joints and reads as follows: HUI 030 - 12GA. 2 3/4in. 3-1 1/8-7 1/2 - Remington Shur Shot - New Remington Crimp Kleanbore Priming - Trap Loads T12M 7 1/2 - 500 Shot Shells. The second ammo crate is a wooden construction from Peters High Velocity Ammo and shows dovetail joint and reads on the side of the crate as follows: Dupont - Peters High Velocity - Shot Shells - Peters Cartridge Division - Remington Arms Co. Inc. - Bridgeport Connecticut - Small Arms Ammunition 2034-D Made In U.S.A. The condition of this pair of wooden ammo boxes is well preserved with some wear consistent with age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this pair of ammo boxes is 9" x 14 3/8" x 9 1/2". The collective weight of this pair of ammo boxes is 7lb 2oz.
