The lot features a fantastic Santo Domingo Vintage shell and multi-stone necklace from the mid-to-late 1900’s. This strand necklace features a beautiful abalone shell main pendant, showing the exterior of the shell on the front and the shimmering interior on the backside. Above the main pendant are two sections of five strands showing polished red jasper, discoidal abalone shell beads, spherical abalone shell beads and brass beads. Below the pendant are nine strands of the same material from above, but includes nickel beads as well. The piece shows good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of damage noted. The main pendant measures 2 3/4" L x 2 7/8" W, with the top section from clasp to clasp measures 18 7/8" L. From top to bottom, it measures 17 1/4" L. It has a total weight of 187.3 grams.
