Offered in this a lot is a Vintage "Through Indian Eyes: The Untold Story of Native American Peoples", by Readers Digest, Second Printing 1997. A thoughtful history from the perspective of Native Americans experienced it, lavishly illustrated with hundreds of photographs, paintings, drawings, beautifully drawn maps, original illustrations, and rare archival images. including an abundance of work by Native American artists that reveals how they saw themselves and their world. The story is amplified by memorable quotations from native people, both past and present. It draws on the traditions, reminiscences, and legends of diverse Native American tribes to explore the history of these peoples and their way of life over the last five centuries, from the time of Columbus to the 20th century. This black cloth bound hardcover is in very good condition, illustrated blue and gold coloured paper dust jacket is in very nice condition. Intact pages are clean. Measures 9.5"W x 12.25"L x 1.25"D, weight is 4lb, 10oz.
