Bumper spurs are also used in dressage and Mexican dancing horse, or Caballos bailadores, a vibrant 400-year-old tradition, often featuring Andalusian, Friesian, and Azteca breeds trained to prance and step to regional music, particularly banda. Deeply rooted in Mexican history, they are part of the charro culture, which originated from 16th-century Spanish settlers' ranch work. The Circle Y Saddles is known for blending traditional, handcrafted leatherwork with modern innovation. Spurs are in well preserved condition, supple leather and and rich patina throughout. Each measures 4"W x 4"L, combined weight is 12oz.
