The lot features a fantastic Walrus Tusk carved fetish necklace including the Corn Maiden from a Zuni artist with a vintage age. The necklace shows a total of 41 carved fetishes including 40 carvings of various animals including eagles, armadillos, foxes, buffalos, bears and more; as well as one Corn Maiden fetish. The fetishes have black scrimshaw eyes. Truly a fantastic set, similar example being listed at over $3,500. The necklace is well kept with no major damages or wear. Overall measures 34-inches long, most of the fetishes measure approximately 1.25-inches long and the Corn Maiden measures 2 7/8-inches long.
