For your consideration are three Colorado views taken by photographers William E. Hook and William Henry Jackson in the 1890-1900s. The first was taken by William E. Hook (1833-1908) between 1890-1900 and shows the Gateway Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is marked on the bottom reading, "Hook Photo / Gateway Garden of the Gods". The back of the photo was marked as well but has since faded and is illegible. The words that can be made out are "Colorado Springs, Colorado / W.E. Hook". The second and third photo were taken by W.H. Jackson and were taken at Clear Creek Canon in Colorado in the 1880s. The first is titled, "mother Grundy, C.C.R.R. No. 2002" and shows a railway cutting through Mother Grundy Clear Creek Canon. The second photo was taken near the same area but shows what appears to be the Grand Canyon of the Arkansan. A man can be seen on the left side of the tracks near the river. The bottom is marked but is illegible. The photos show good to fair condition with wear present from their age and use over the years. No major signs of damage is noted. The W.E. Hook photo measures 5" L x 7 7/8" W, while the two W.H. Jackson photos measure 7 1/2" L x 5 1/2" W. They have a collective weight of under 6 ounces.
