The top of the receiver ring is marked with a waffenamt proof over "dou / 43", the left side with the Nazi firing proof and the serial number. The left side receiver wall is marked "Mod. 98". All visible numbers match. The rifle utilizes a 22" round blue'd barrel chambered in 8mm. The fixed blade front sight is dovetailed in place. The stock has been sporterized with a straight grain walnut and checkered fore grip and pistol grip. The butt stock has been upgraded to a hard rubber made by Grand - Luxe. The bolt action operates without a flaw. Trigger mechanism and all other operations work as intended. Serial Number: 4453m.
