For your consideration in this lot is a collection of two wanted notices and four photo prisoner identification cards. The first wanted notice is from the Pinkerton's National Detective Agency. This notice comes from the Montreal office on January 24, 1911. The notice offers a $200 reward for Charles G. Bell Alias R.A. Turner for forgery. The notice includes two photos and the vital information on the person wanted, as well as a sample of his handwriting. This notice has fold marks from when it was in an envelope and some damage on the edges. This notice measures 11" X 8 1/2". The next notice is a $100.00 reward for Albert Hall, Alias Albert Brazier, Better known as "Red", wanted for jumping bonds. The notice has a photo of Red and gives a description. This notice measures 7 1/2" X 6". Of the prisoner photo identification cards two are from Idaho State Penitentiary Boise, Idaho and two are from Washington State. The first of the Idaho cards is of Larry Sullivan, who was sentenced to "5 to 10" (years?) for "Crimes Against Nature". One side of the card has two photos of him glued on. The back side of the card has handwritten all the information on him, including face and body measurements and notes about his crime and sentence. The next Idaho card is for S.S Burke, Alias Stanley Austin. He was sentenced to "10 to 25 yrs" for "Murder 2nd Deg". Both cards are on very heavy stock and measure 5 1/4" X 3 1/4". The next card is from the police Department of Spokane Wash. Bureau of Identification. The card is for Jon Burns Alias J.B. Quinlan Who was arrested March 11 (19)06 for Burglary. This card is also 5 1/4" X 3 1/4" on heavy card stock, with a photo glued on the front and handwritten information on the back. The last card is from Washington Reformatory Monroe, Washington. This card is for Robert Smith Alias Chas, Thompson, True name Robert Lane, whose crime was Grand Larceny. He was sentenced on Ja. 7th 1914. This card has two photos on the front and the information typed on the back. This card is printed on photo paper. Please see pictures for an accurate assessment of condition.
