For your consideration is this first edition book titled, "Watches & Clocks in the Sir David Salomons Collection" by George Daniels & Ohannes Markarian circa 1980. This book is a catalog of Sir David Salomons stunning collection of watches on display at the LA Mayer Memorial Institute for Islamic Art in Jerusalem. All 191 works in the collection are described, dated and illustrated including black & white photos as well as full page colored photos. The front dust cover reads, "Watches & Clocks in the Sir David Salomons Colelction / George Daniels & Ohannes Markarian" in white lettering and shows a photo of six watches below that. The book shows good condition overall with slight wear present from its use over the years but no signs of obvious damage is noted. The book measures 11 1/2" L x 9" W x 1 3/8" D and weighs 3 pounds and 12 ounces.
