For your consideration in this lot are two rare Watermelon Chevron trade beads and silver bead necklaces. The first necklace is made of four layer white, red, white, green "Watermelon" chevron beads. Each bead is 1/2" long and 1/4" wide; the beads are alternated with silver stamped beads. At either end of the necklace are stamped silver cones that end in a hook and eye fastener. The second necklace is also made of four layer "Watermelon" chevron beads. These beads are "flattened". The necklace ends with seven small barrel beads and a hook and eye fastener. Between the small beads are silver drop beads and between the larger flattened beads are silver fluted beads. The flattened Watermelon beads are 1/4" X 3/8". The first necklace measures 26" and the second one measures 25". These necklaces are in very good condition.
