Offered in this lot are six trade bead necklaces of watermelon style. The first two necklaces are made of oval chevron watermelon beads. These beads are red, white, blue, and green striped. The beads measure 5/8" to 1/2". There are four beads on one strand and forty four on the other. These two necklaces are 22" long. The next necklace has the same color pattern of red, white, blue, and green stripes, but the beads are round. There are fifty one beads on this necklace. The raffia has come unknotted; the necklace is estimated at 18" long. The fourth necklace is a combination of oval beads and "flattened" watermelon beads. The necklace starts with red, white, and green striped oval beads, seven on one side and eight on the other. In the center, there are twenty nine "flattened" beads of graduating size from 3/8" to 5/8". The next necklace is made of small round beads with a white base and light blue, yellow, and brown stripes. There is one bead of white with blue and brown stripes only; the first ten beads on one side are white, green, red, and blue striped. All of these beads are an average of 1/8" and the necklace measures 24". The last necklace in the collection is predominantly of brick red beads with white and dark blue stripes. On one end of the necklaces are five yellow, light blue, red, and black striped beads. These beads average ½” and there are forty one total beads on this necklace that measures 24". These necklaces are in fair condition.
