Featured in this lot is this Wells Fargo & Co. old transfer handcuffs circa 1883. The handcuffs features a wonderfully and professionally crafted stainless steel construction that shows an old style to the handcuffs with a lock-in clasp mechanism and shows a identification tag of bronze identifying the handcuffs and reads as follows: Body In Transit - Wells Fargo & Co. - 4617000 - 1883 - 11. The condition of this pair of Wells Fargo hand cuffs is well preserved with the key missing but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this pair of handcuffs is 12 1/4" x 3 1/8" x 1 1/8". The collective weight of this pair of handcuffs is 1lb 2oz.
