Featured in this lot is this western buckaroo made single sided utility bag circa 1950 - 1970's. The saddle bag features a wonderfully crafted leather construction that shows the ingenuity of the American Buckaroo with a larger than usual saddle bag to carry fencing equipment and utility equipment that would be needed for checking fields and barbed wire and fencing. The saddle bag is marked with the etched initials of the amateur maker or the ranch it belonged to: T (Diamond) (Under Bar). The condition of this single-sided saddle bag is preserved with some wear to the leather that shows some slight wear to the seam and seems to be some straps missing but otherwise is preserved. The measurements of this single-sided saddle bag is 40 1/2" x 15 3/4". The collective weight of this saddle bag is 4lb 2oz.
