Featured in this lot is this western Buckeye Black Cow Camp China set circa 1990. There are 24 total platters in this collection. The pieces feature a high quality glaze with depictions a bucking bronco with a cowboy in the saddle on the large plate, a western saddle with a moon behind it on the smaller plate, a steer head with a lariat around the rim on the bowl, and finally chaps with a western boot and a branding iron on the coffee cups. This is a highly sought after set of platters by Buckeye Blake Cow Camp China Pipestone from Homer Laughlin and shows the hallmarks on the underside of the platters. Cow Camp china is a colorful collection of western inspired dinnerware, paying tribute to the rugged individualism of the cowboy. The condition of this set of ceramic ware is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of these dishes are 11" in diameter for the large plate, 8 1/4" for the smaller plate, 6" x 2 1/4" for the bowl, and 3 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" for the coffee mug.
