For your consideration is this 1890s Western Electric Type 295A wall mounted oak rotary phone. This phone displays a solid oak case with a full set of internal components. The piece shows a phone receiver and phone on the left side. On the handle of the phone it reads "Bell System, Manufactured By Western Electric Company F1". The front of the wooden case shows the rotary for dialing numbers, while the top shows the pair of bells that are rung when the phone is being called. On the interior side of the door it is marked with a sticker showing who it was sold by, the date and the model of phone "Sold By: Attis, Purchase Date: 2-2-84, Model: Trad Rot (Traditional Rotary)". The bottom of the door is marked "Type 295A" into the wood. On the side of the wooden box, patents and dates are marked, along with other information, but has since faded away and become illegible. The phone shows good condition overall with wear present from its age and use over the years, but no obvious signs of damage is noted. Interior components appear to be in good condition. Phone has not been tested for functionality, rotary spins nice and moves freely. The phone measures 6 5/8" L x 9 1/16" W x 9 3/4" H and weighs 6 pounds and 6 ounces.
