Included in this lot is a set of stainless steel western spurs originating from the early 20th century and two antique iron Snaffle bits. The spurs consist of one pair of stainless steel western spurs and the leather attachment straps. The pair shows stainless steel construction with ten point brass rowel at the end of the shank. The spurs feature leather straps with a double sizing strap free of maker’s marks. The set shows good condition overall, with some minor wear and rust on the pair of spurs. The leather strap is dry and needs a good oiling, but it is solid. The pair measures 5 1/2" long by 3 1/4" at the widest. The antique iron snaffle bits are next. The first bit is hand forged with the loops for the reign rings folded onto itself. The center point of the bit is also folded on itself. The second bit is made with cast iron for the hinged mouth pieces. These bits are in very good condition and measure 12 1/2" in total length, with mouth pieces of 7" and 7 1/2".
