Presented in this lot is a Vintage Western Spurs Collection, circa early to mid 1900s. The first pair of metal spurs have Colorado Saddlery leather straps. Founded in Denver, Colorado in 1945 by former HH Heiser Saddle Company saddlemakers, Colorado Saddlery and The Hunter Company are known worldwide for their professional grade saddles and handcrafted holsters. These spurs feature brass studs and rowels, the arms are braided forged iron. The leathers are stamped "Colorado Saddlery Co. USA." The second pair are black steel 22* bull riding spurs with leathers, stamped "SB." These heavy-duty spurs have dull, loosely locked rowels to provide more grip on the animals' thick loose hide. The third pair are heavy-duty steel California-style large 2.5" rowel 20-point spurs with guards, brass buttons, and leathers. The fourth pair are reiner-style steel 10-point spurs with suede leathers and brass buttons. The fifth pair are antique forged iron short shank spurs with leathers, no rowels. The last pair are English Flat End steel riding spurs with leathers. All the spurs are in preserved conditions, leathers vary from good condition to antique worn. The larger California-style spurs measure 6.5"L x 3.75"W, the smallest English Flat End spurs measure 4.75"L x 3"W. Combined weight is 5lb, 8oz.
