Featured in this lot is this stock shares certificate from "Copper King" William A. Clark (1839 – 1925). William Clark was a U.S. Senator and one of the "Copper Kings" of Montana. In the 1880's and 1890's, Montana was a boom state for gold and copper mining. This is a partially printed document signed by Senator Clark and from Butte City, Montana. The condition of this certificate is good with an authentication mark on the secretary signature. The measurements of this stock shares certificate are 7 1/4" x 11".
