Featured in this lot we have a William Kail half stock percussion cap black powder rifle chambered in 42 gauge. The rifle was manufactured in America in the late 19th century. The rifle displays a 36" long octagonal barrel, hardwood stock, brass trigger guard, dual trigger system, percussion cap hammer, and brown finish. The barrel is marked across the top reading "WM Kail". The mechanics show good working condition with the hammer showing some sticking. The rifle shows good condition overall with some wear and patina due to use and age. No Serial Number. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
