The necklace features a professionally and wonderfully crafted petit point cross pendant design with Bisbee turquoise bezel setting stones and silver beads. The sterling silver solid cable chain clasp is stamped "Italy" and "925", reverse of cross is stamped, "MEXICO" and "925MWS". The "MWS" designation is for William Spratling,an American-born silver designer and artist, best known for his influence on 20th century Mexican silver design, “The Father of Contemporary Mexican Silver” and one of the most important designers of 20th century jewelry.
