Featured in this lot is an original, framed painting done by German painter Willy Kruschwitz (1891-1956), circa 1945-1955. The painting is set in a large, gold painted frame that is highly decorated. The painting shows a town scene in the Netherlands (Dutch Holland) filled with brightly colored flowers and busy towns people. To the left, is a a river with river boats, with the closet one being filled with flowers. In the background is a group of people looking at and buying flowers from merchants. In the center is a woman carrying a flower pot. She is wearing curved, pointed clogs and looks directly at the viewer. The attention to detail in this painting is amazing and the contrast of colors is beautiful. The artist's signature can be seen in the bottom right hand corner reading, "W. Kruschwitz". The painting shows good condition overall with no signs of obvious damage or wear present. The frame shows some wear and fading to the gold paint but is in overall good condition as well. The visible art measures 38 3/8"L x 26 3/4"W, while the entire piece measures 47 3/4"L x 36 1/4"W.*
