Offered for sale in this lot is this lovely, uncleaned condition ANTIQUE serial number production Winchester Repeating Arms Model 1892 octagon barrel rifle in the desirable .38-40 caliber. This example showing serial number: 162121, attributing its manufacture to the year 1898. The rifle is offered with the .38-40 caliber, which was one of the LARGEST chamberings in the Browning designed 1892. The .38-40 was introduced in the 1880
