Featured in this lot is this box of Winchester .38-40 Center Fire Cartridges (50). The box of ammunition shows the proper cartridges and proper number for the size of the original box and is marked on the top and side of the box as follows: Winchester - Center Fire Cartridges - 38-40 Winchester 180 Grain Soft Point - Winchester Oil Proof 50 Cartridges. The condition of this box of cartridges is well preserved with some wear to the original box but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this box of ammunition is 1 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 2 1/2". The collective weight of this box of cartridges is 2lb 2oz.
