Featured in this lot is this Winchester .38 Smith & Wesson cartridge box. The cartridge box contains a total of 44 rounds with the original box and correct ammunition; the box is marked on the advertisement top as follows: Winchester - .38 Smith & Wesson - 145 grain lead bullet - nickel plated shell - staynless non-mercuric oil proof - 50 center fire smokeless cartridges. The condition of this box of cartridges is well preserved for its age with very little wear to the box and the round show some wear consistent with some age but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this cartridge box is 2 1/8" x 3 7/8" x 1 5/8". The collective weight of this box of cartridges is 1lb 2oz.
