The front sight is dovetailed in place with a sporting rear sight corresponding. The barrel is marked "Manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms. Co - New Haven Conn. USA. Aug. 27. 01. Feb. 25. 02. Feb. 3. 17. Dec. 22. 03." The left side of the barrel towards the receiver is marked "Winchester Trademark - Mod. 1903. 22 CAL. Automatic." Serial Number: 48461.
