Included in this lot is a Winchester Model 62 .22 caliber slide action rifle. This rifle has a manufacture date of 1946. The Model 62 replaced the Model 1906. This takedown rifle is chambered in .22 caliber (the rifle can fire short, long or long rifle). The rifle utilizes a 23" round blue'd barrel with fixed blade front sight and adjustable ladder rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked "Made in New Haven, Conn. U.S. of America - Winchester Trade Mark - Model 62 - S.L. or L.R." The straight grain walnut stock and fore grip are in good condition. The stock shows minor compression marks from use.
