Featured in this lot we have a Winchester model 70 bolt action hunting rifle with a scope and chambered in .22-250 caliber. This model 70 was manufactured by Winchester in 1972. The rifle displays a 22" long round barrel, walnut stock, internal magazine, bolt action, and Burris scope. The rifle is marked across the side reading "WINCHESTER - MODEL 70 70 - CAL. 22-250 - MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEAL". Mechanically the rifle shows a smooth bolt and crisp trigger. The pistol grip and front of the stock display checkered grip designs with shoulder strap mounts. The rifle shows good condition overall with some light wear across the blue'd finish due to age and handling. The rifle weighs 9lbs 6oz. Serial Number: G1067378. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
