Available for sale is a Winchester model 770 .30-06 Springfield bolt action rifle. The rifle features a Walnut Monte Carlo stock, blue'd steel finish, 24" barrel, and Bushnell scope. The Winchester 770 was produced as a economy version of the model 70, it lacked a hinged floorplate or fore-end tip to keep cost down. In terms of numbers this is a rare Winchester for they were only produced from 1969 to 1971. The rifle is in good condition, with little wear to the bluing and stock. It functions like new. It is marked on the barrel " Winchester Model 770 - 30-06 SPRG. Made in New Haven. Conn. U.S.A Winchester proof steel" and on the receiver Winchester trade mark. The rifle weighs 8lbs 10oz. Serial Number: G952068. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
