For your consideration is a Winchester Model 94 Illinois Sesquicentennial .30-30 Win saddle ring carbine with box. The Illinois Sesquicentennial Model 94 carbines were released in 1968 and numbered IS1-IS37468. The rifle features a 20” round blue’d barrel chambered in .30-30 Winchester caliber. The barrel is fit with a hooded front sight and adjustable rear. The left of the barrel near the receiver is marked “Winchester Trade Mark – Model 94 – 30-30 WIN Winchester Proof Steel – Made in the U.S.A.” The right side of the barrel has gilt lettering reading “Illinois Sesquicentennial 1818-1968”. The saddle ring, hammer and loading port all feature a gold finish. The left of the receiver has an engraved silhouette of President Lincoln and reads “Land of (silhouette of Lincoln)”. The rifle shows mint never fired condition and the original factory zip tie. The box is in poor condition but includes the paperwork. Serial Number: IS2543. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
