Featured in this lot is this framed lithograph pair from Winold Reiss (born 1886 and died 1953). There are two framed lithographs in this collection, with the first titled "Turtle and His Young Son." The lithograph shows Native American Turtle with his son wrapped in a trade blanket; this famous bear hunter and dancer of the Pecunnies is bringing up his son in the traditions of his people. The second is titled "Double Steel and Two Cutter." The lithograph shows Native Double Steel and Two Cutter cuddled up with a trade blanket back drop; these women of the Kainah Blackfeet are well known for their bead work. The condition of this pair of framed lithographs is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this pair of framed artwork are 12 5/8" x 9 5/8" and the visible art measures 11 5/8" x 8 5/8".
