Featured in this lot are two, early Winold Reiss Great Northern Railway "Blackfeet Indian" calendars from 1935 and 1936. The first calendar is from 1935 and shows the art titled, "Chief Yellow Kidney - Glacier National Park" and reads, "Route of the Empire Builder / Great Northern". The calendar only features the months of July - December of 1935. Below the calendar it reads, "Between Chicago And The Pacific Northwest via Glacier National Park". The second calendar shows the artwork titled, "First Stabber - Blackfeet Indian Boy" and reads on the sides, "Route of the Empire Builder". The calendar below the artwork only features the month of December, 1936. Below the calendar it reads, "Between Chicago and the Pacific Northwest via Glacier National Park". The calendars show good condition overall with slight wear present from their age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. They measure 32 7/8" L x 16 1/8" W and have a collective weight of under 6 ounces.
